Time is on my side
May 9, 2009 – 12:35 amOr, is it? The past week felt like a blur. That it’s now (very) early Saturday morning is somewhat amazing to me. I’m somewhat mixed on weeks that go by fast versus those that move at a slower pace. Maybe it’s the indiscriminate manner in how some weeks drag while others move too fast — and usually the fun stuff occurs during those “too fast” weeks. Well, not all the time.
It feels as if my brain was on auto-pilot to speed through the week and now that it’s the weekend, auto-pilot has been turned off. I’ve awakened and my brain will be left to its better devices for roughly 48 hours. During that time, it will be non-auto-pilot brain’s duties to do the following: enjoy the sunshine, get outside (if only to the backyard sitting on a towel in the aforementioned sunshine), write, listen to music, and perhaps enjoy random acts of dance around the house.
